Theory --

Throat Paints are the ointments that is applied inside an oral cavity or throat. unless otherwise mentioned 
Throat paints are solutions or dispersions of one or more reactive ingredients for application to the mucose of the throat or mouth. Iodine paint (Mandl's Paint) for external use only

Procedure--

• Dissolve potassium iodide and iodine in water
• add portion of glycerine, peppermint oil, previously dissolve alcohol in the above solution.
• add sufficient quantity of glycerine
• mix gently fitted in an appropriate bottle and label

Uses--

used as an antimicrobial agent.
